Check-Out Instructions
- Checking out: Check out time is 10am. Later times may be available upon request and if available.
- If the cleaners arrive at 10am and have to reschedule because guests are still in the home, you will be responsible for that cleaning and an additional cleaning fee
- Property Manager (PM): After checking out, our PM will conduct a thorough inspection of the home to be sure everything is in proper working order and organized. If there are issues that you have not made us aware of, your party is responsible for the fees associated with the issues. If something does happen, please let us know as your damage insurance will cover most issues and the home will be ready for the next guests.
- Thermostats: All five thermostats must be set to the following:
- Winter Months: 65 degrees
- Summer Months: 50 degrees
- Hot tub: The hot tub must be set to 95 degrees and the cover must be on and the lock LOCKED for safety.
- Trash: Remove all trash, perishable food, cigar and cigarette butts, & drinks from inside and outside the house, including on the deck & back yard.
- Trash must be placed inside the garage in the appropriate bins
- If trash is found, there will be an additional fee incurred
- Trashed is picked up on Wednesdays. Our trash service has access to the garage.
- Fireplace: IMPORTANT
- Close the flu to the fireplace before leaving
- Clean out the fireplace so it is free from soot, embers and wood in the fireplace
- All fires shall be extinguished within 12 hours of departure
- Animal Pet Hair: The home and carpet must be vacuumed one last time to remove all per hair
- If pet hair is found, there will be an additional fee incurred of $300
- Kitchen: The Kitchen must be cleaned and wiped down to remove any food particles or spills on the back splash, countertops and floors.
- The refrigerators must be cleaned out completely and wiped down.
- Towels and Linens: All used towels and linens, including bed linens, must be stripped and left in the bathrooms in an organized fashion so our cleaners can pick them up
- Turn Off Everything: Be sure all lights (inside and out), stereo, water faucets, toilets, washer and dryer, shower heads, etc. are turned off. If for some reason there is an issue, please call and let us know.
- Roku Televisions: Be sure to log out of your apps on the Roku TV’s
- Cleaning Up: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP, CLEANING, AND REORGANIZING THE HOME AS YOU FOUND IT. That includes furniture that may have been moved. Any additional costs incurred for excessive cleaning by our cleaners or moving furniture will be assessed to your party.
- Windows and Doors: Close & lock ALL DOORS, WINDOWS, & BLINDS in every room.
- Back sliding screen and glass doors to the deck must be locked on the handle and the floor
- The outdoor garage door and side door must be closed, dead bolted and locked
- The fire door from the kitchen to the garage must be closed and locked
- The front door must be closed and locked upon exit
- Organize: Clean and realign all appliances in the Kitchen. Place all utensils, dishware, cookware back to its original locations.
- Run the dishwasher no later than two hours before departure
- De sure all appliances are shut off and unplugged (toaster & coffee maker)
- Remove all drinks and food from refrigerators, freezer and cabinets
